Ahh yes, I finally had time to get my studded Nokians back on the Mirage. I love how nice she drives on wet roads with these tires, but we haven’t had a terrible winter yet so the urgency just wasn’t there. We’re expecting snow tonight so I’m hoping to go play!

What are you all getting done to the rides today?

Nothing. Already have snow tires on my truck. Studless, because studs are illegal here. I’m going out in the slop in a bit to go buy something I found on FB Marketplace , so hopefully some oppo will be had :)

Well heck yeah be safe out there in the weather!

Studs are legal here in Ohio from November till April, so thank goodness for it. I know a lot of states aren’t as nice about it.

My ride? Gotta retrieve it from my friends house cause my drunk ass wasn’t going to drive it home. Luckily he lives in walking distance.

Prius needs an oil change/rotate. A good inspection. Needs tires but I am holding off for just a bit. That’s about it.

Will do! It’s really not that bad out. Just sloppy.

I’m fine with studless snows. I drive a 2wd pickup, and with them I have never gotten stuck.

Being a tech for the last 20 years has shown me what regular maintenance can do for a car. My 2003 Xterra had 397 ,000 miles before it was traded in for the Toyota. It leaked a spot of power steering fluid from the pressure line. Other than that, truck looked like new. And ran even better. Take care of it and it will take care of you.
